“Money is our best friend if we depend wisely
But if used in bad ways, it’s a path quite unsteady
As payment to kill, to bribe and deceive
But we can’t buy love, nor true happiness we receive”
Coins in my pocket, a clinking sound
Dreams and desires, all around
Money’s power, a force so grand
A means to an end, in this busy land
Money’s wings, a fleeting flight
Earned and spent, in the light of night
It buys us freedom, or so it seems
But true wealth lies in life’s precious dreams
Money’s voice, a whispered tale
Of security, or a future to hail
It fuels our passions, or so it claims
But love and joy, are priceless games
Money’s dance, a delicate spin
A balance of give, and take within
It buys us comfort, or so we think
But memories and love, forever link
Money’s story, a chapter told
Of struggles and triumphs, young and old
It shapes our journey, through every stage
But true riches lie in life’s turning page
Money’s lesson, a wisdom gained
That life’s true wealth, is love obtained
In every moment, in every sigh
True riches shine, beyond money’s guise
Money is our best friend if we depend wisely
But if used in bad ways, it’s a path quite unsteady
As payment to kill, to bribe and deceive
But we can’t buy love, nor true happiness we receive.
